SSD Lorenza was created to give girls a soccer environment where their progress receives real attention. Players should understand what they are working toward, receive feedback they can use, and have opportunities to put what they learn into practice.
That takes consistency from us as coaches. Training, match experiences, and individual conversations need to connect. We explain our decisions, listen to players, and keep families informed so development is something they can understand and take part in.
Our responsibility is to challenge each girl while giving her the support and time to grow.
PLAYER FIRST
We consider how decisions affect each player’s development, confidence, and experience. We take time to understand her goals, listen to her perspective, and provide honest guidance as she grows.
CLEAR DIRECTION
Training, competition, and feedback connect to a clear plan. Players should understand what they are learning, why it matters, and what they can work on next. We revisit those goals and adjust as their needs change.
SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
Coaches are responsible for preparation, clear communication, and consistent expectations. Players bring effort, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Families support that process through trust, encouragement, and open conversation.
