About ssd lorenza

Founded in 2026, SSD Lorenza is an independent girls soccer club serving Lawrence, Topeka, KS and surrounding areas. Our academy provides competitive youth soccer through a shared curriculum, consistent coaching principles, and individual player development.


In summer 2027, Lorenza will introduce a women's pre professional team, expanding the club's opportunities beyond youth soccer. Together, these programs form the foundation of a pathway connecting young players with the women's game in their own community.

We work toward this by:


  • Providing structured training and individual feedback
  • Teaching players to understand the game and make their own decisions
  • Supporting coaches in their continued education
  • Building relationships with local schools, organizations, and businesses
  • Connecting youth soccer with opportunities in the women's game.
